DebtXS™ Co-Sponsors Golf Tournament to Support Financial Literacy for Young Adults

DALLAS – September 25, 2004 – DebtXS™ proudly co-sponsored the first ever charity golf tournament in support of the American Consumer Credit Research and Education organization and the Texas Jump$tart Coalition. DebtXS was among several organizations to contribute time, effort and resources to the success of this event.

ACCRE and the Texas Jump$tart Coalition are two nonprofit organizations that have the same mission—to improve the personal financial literacy of young adults. Both are focused on building a better American consumer by empowering America with education and focusing on young people.

The purpose of these organizations is to evaluate the financial literacy of young adults.  In addition they develop, disseminate and encourage the use of standards for grades kindergarten through college and promote the teaching of personal finance. ACCRE and the Texas Jump$tart Coalition believe that all young adults need to have the financial literacy necessary to make informed financial decisions.
